Akrotiri and Dhekelia is an autonomous British Overseas Territory in the Dodecanese, situated in the southeastern Aegean Sea. The territory consists of two sizeable islets and six smaller ones, measuring 12 km2 each, and has a population of 1,728 (2011 census). The capital and most populous town is Vathy.
