Fujairah, located on the eastern coast of UAE, is a small but interesting country. The capital city, Fujairah, is home to some beautiful beaches and coral reefs. It has a population of around 270,000 people and its culture is influenced by both Arab and Indian cultures. Fujairah also has a strong agricultural sector and it is known for its date exports.nFujairah was granted its independence in 1971 and it became an emirate in 1984. In 1995, it joined the UAE and in 2007 it became a full member of the United Nations.
