About this jurisdiction

São Tomé and Príncipe is one of the smaller countries in the Central African region. It has a population of just over 310,000 people and its official languages are Portuguese and São Toméan Creole. The country is also home to the first artificial reef in Africa - Zona Costeira de São Tomé e Príncipe. The reef was created in 2007 to help preserve marine life and attract tourists to the country.
