About this jurisdiction

Malawi is a landlocked country located in southeastern Africa. The official name of the country is the Republic of Malawi, and its capital is Lilongwe. Extremely limited physical evidence exists to suggest that humans have been living in the region since prehistoric times. The first written record of the area was in an account by Arab trader, Ahmad ibn Majid, who visited the area in the 9th century CE.
