Oman is a small country with a huge potential. The country is located in the Eastern Region of the Arabian Peninsula, bordering Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Oman's economy is mostly based on oil and gas production, but the country also has significant mineral resources, including timber and phosphates. Oman is also a major producer of frankincense and myrrh; two valuable spices. There are several attractions in Oman that make it worth visiting, such as the Musandam Peninsula, Aqaba, Salalah, Nizwa City, Siq al-Jawz and the ancient city of Sohar. Additionally, there are World Heritage Sites in Muscat and Sur. Oman has a diverse wildlife including camels, ostriches, lions, leopards and cheetahs.
